The Jordan Delta SP “Black Flax” is constructed from breathable black mesh and “Flax” suede overlays for its upper. This is starkly contrasted with the overlays, which serve up a shaggy and supple flax suede. On the medial side, it wraps from heel to toebox and crescendos by reaching up to an eyestay, on the lateral side it’s present exclusively on the forefoot. Both sides are left unadorned, but the heel’s suede is perforated and equipped with an alternate take on Jordan’s ball-and-wings logo, a mark that’s been around since 1985 when Peter Moore created it for the Air Jordan 1. Underfoot, a full-length Nike React foam in white helps to add a contrasting hit to this upcoming outfit, while additional details such as the ergonomic tongue and heel loops further prioritize the sneaker’s function-first design.
